This site provides an overview of the moth species found in Montgomeryshire, Wales. It also covers the activities and events of the MMG, a small, friendly group of people who trap & study moths within the region.

Compared to most of the UK, moths are relatively unrecorded in Montgomeryshire. There is a possibility that there may be something new to this part of Wales living in your own back garden!
