Programme 2010
All ages are welcome, beginners or experts. All events are free unless listed otherwise below.

These are mainly evening events. We set up a light at dusk to attract moths and then release them after identifying them. You are welcome to join us for as much of the evening as suits you – we are likely to stay for a few hours. However, in case of cancellation, in poor weather or unforeseen circumstances:- PLEASE ALWAYS RING OR EMAIL TO CHECK THE EVENT IS ON BEFORE JOINING US.

Some places are not easy to find so we can give you directions when you ring. Bring a torch and wear suitable outdoor clothing & footwear.

This year we are targeting two rare species found only in Wales: the nationally scarce Ashworth’s Rustic (found only in north Wales), and the Rosy Marsh Moth (a Red Data Book endangered species, restricted to a few sites in the west of Wales & Cumbria).
