Fairly common on both the eastern and western extremes of the county.

Habitat

Mainly associated with woodland.

Foodplant

Rosaceae trees and shrubs, willow and vaccinium.

Lifestage data

Spinning. Eggs laid at base of bud. Larva lives and feeds in spun leaves and flowers. Pupates in a folded leaf edge.
