Resident. Widely distributed throughout the British Isles, more common in the south.
Wingspan : M & F, 20-26mm.
time & Voltinity
Wet meadows, woodland edges and boggy places.
Eggs laid on underside of leaf. Larva feed on flowers and seeds. Pupates in an elevated part of the stem.
