Habitat

Dry light soils with sparse vegetation.

Foodplant

Plantain spp.

Lifestage data

Root feeder. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva lives and feeds in the rootstock causing the central leaves to droop. Pupates in a silken cocoon in the rootstock.
