Resident. Widespread but local in southern Britain.
Recorded once from Welshpool in 2007.
Wingspan : M & F, 14-20mm.
time & Voltinity
Stored cereals, grain, fruit, nuts, roots, herbs and dried insects.
Spinning. Eggs laid on food source. Larva spins an open web amongst the food materials which soon becomes contaminated with frass. Pupates in a silken cocoon in a crevice.
