Resident. Widespread but local in the southern half of England, very local in Wales, northern England and Scotland.
An extremely old record from the south of the county at Mochdre in 1937.
Wingspan : M & F, 22-32mm.

Dry stony ground with sparse vegetation.
Thought to feed on rock-rose and field wormwood.
The early lifestage details of this species are unknown.
