Resident. Locally common throughout the British Isles.
Recorded at a few sites across the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 25-28mm.
Metriostola betulae and Apomyelois bistriatella.
time & Voltinity
Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva forms a silken web and lives within. Pupal site not documented.
