Found at several sites in the northern half of the county.

Wingspan :   M & F, 19-24mm.

Habitat

Hawthorn hedges.

Foodplant

Hawthorn and rowan.

Lifestage data

Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva spins several flowers or leaves together and lives within. Pupates in a tough cocoon attached to a dead leaf or in the soil.
