Habitat

Oak woodland.

Foodplant

Mainly oak.

Lifestage data

Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva folds the leaf with silk and lives within, eating holes in leaves often between the veins. Pupates in a cocoon amongst the detritus on the ground.
