Resident. Local but widespread in the southern half of England and Wales.
Found at two sites closely situated in the extreme west of the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 18-22mm.
time & Voltinity
Bushy habitats also bracken.
A wide range of plants and bushes, and leaf litter.
Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva initially feed on the leaves of the foodplant but later descends to the ground and feeds on leaf litter. Pupates in an oval cocoon in the leaf litter.
