Resident. Widespread and fairly common throughout Britain.
Fairly common across the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 24-27mm.
time & Voltinity
Woodland and hedgerows.
Various herbaceous plants.
Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Overwinters in a spinning on edge of a leaf. Larva lives under leaves which it spins together or a turned down leaf edge. Pupates in a web in a spun leaf.
