Habitat

Mainly associated with blackthorn thickets and hedges.

Foodplant

Various herbaceous plants.

Lifestage data

Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Overwinters in a spinning on edge of a leaf. Larva lives under leaves which it spins together. Pupates in a silken cocoon amongst leaves of foodplant.
