First recorded at Derwenlas in the west of the county in 2020.
Wingspan : M & F 29-37mm
Male fairly distinctive, but the female can be confused with Sitochroa verticalis.
Wherever the foodplant is found.
Stem miner. Eggs laid low down on foodplant. Larva mines upwards. Pupates within the stem.
