Wingspan :   M & F, 12-15mm.

Habitat

Dry grassy places.

Foodplant

Yarrow and tansy.

Lifestage data

Root feeder. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva lives and feeds, sometimes gregariously, in the roots and rootstock. Pupates in a silken cocoon in larval habitation.
