Resident. A local species in Wales and England as far north as the Midlands.
First recorded in 2012 at Middletown in the east of the county.
Wingspan : M & F 10-12mm.
|Flight time & Voltinity
Chalk and limestone grassland, neutral grassland and open woodland.
Root feeder. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva feeds on the roots and rootstock. Pupates in the larval feeding place in an earthen cocoon.
