Resident. Widespread and fairly common throughout much of Britain.
Generally fairly uncommon, but it has benn recorded from scattered sites across the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 14-22mm.
|Flight time & Voltinity
Orchards and gardens.
Fruit feeder. Eggs laid near the base of a forming fruit. Larva feeds inside the fruit. Pupates in a silken cocoon under loose bark on the tree or amongst debris on the ground.
