Flight time & Voltinity
(Univoltine)  Habitat Woodland and parkland. Foodplant Oak and sweet chestnut. Lifestage data Nut feeder. Eggs laid along the leaf veins. Larva lives in the nut eating out the kernel. Pupates in a tough silken cocoon in rotten wood, under moss or bark on a tree. |
