Resident. A common species in England, very local in Wales and Scotland.
This species was first recorded in 2014 at Middletown in the east of the county. Only the 8th record for north Wales.
Wingspan : M & F 15-19mm.

Wherever the foodplant is found.
Bark feeder. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva feeds within the bark. Pupa 'spun up' in larval habitation.
