Resident. A common species found throughout the British Isles.
First recorded in 2014 at Commins Coch in the west of the county.
Wingspan : M & F 13-18mm.
time & Voltinity
Chalk grasslands, sand dunes, waste ground and open woodland.
Eggs laid on larval food. Larva lives in flowerheads and feeds on seeds, occasionally borrowing into stem. Pupates in soil.
