UK Status Resident. Found mainly in the south-east of England, but does extend towards Gloucestershire and the Welsh border. Montgomeryshire Status A few very old records from Welshpool in the east of the county in the mid 1960's. Wingspan : M & F, 12-15mm. Confusion species Enarmonia formosana. |

(Univoltine)  Habitat Woodlands, parks and gardens. Foodplant Poplar spp. Lifestage data Spinning. Eggs laid on twigs of foodplant. Larva spins two leaves flatly together and feeds within. Pupates in larval habitation in a flimsy cocoon. |
