Resident. Widespread throughout Britain but more common in the north.
Recorded from a few sites in the north and west of the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 18-22mm.

Birch, hazel and willow.
Leaf roller. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva forms a transversely rolled leaf and feeds within. Pupates spun up in a cocoon of silk and earth particles.
