(Univoltine)  Habitat Wherever foodplant is found. Foodplant Alder and hazel. Lifestage data Catkin feeder. Eggs laid on buds. Larva first feeds inside a catkin, later moving to developing leaf buds. Pupates in a flimsy cocoon amongst dead leaves on the ground. |
