Resident. Widely distributed and can be common throughout the British Isles as far north as Sutherland.
Found at several sites, mainly on the western side of the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 12-16mm.
time & Voltinity
Wherever foodplant is found.
Oak and beech.
Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva spins a leaf into a pod and feeds within. Pupates in a cocoon spun up in a leaf or amongst the leaf litter.
