Resident. Widespread and common throughout the British Isles as far north as Ross and Cromarty.
Found at a few sites in the west of the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 19-22mm.
time & Voltinity
Woodland and heathland.
Birch and willow.
Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva feeds in spun leaves. Pupates in larval habitation or a spun leaf.
