Resident. Locally common throughout the British Isles.
A fairly uncommon species, recorded from scattered sites across the county.
Wingspan : M. 13-16mm. F. 11-14mm.

A wide range of herbaceous plants.
Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva feeds from either a folded leaf or a spinning. Pupates between spun leaves or in larval habitation.
