Resident. Locally common throughout the British Isles.
Very few records but probably overlooked.
Wingspan : M & F, 16-23mm.
time & Voltinity
Grassland and moorland.
A wide range of low growing herbaceous plants.
Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva lives in a spun silken tube low down amongst the rootstock. Pupates in or near larval habitation.
