Wingspan :   M & F, 12-18mm.

A. xylosteana.

Habitat

Gardens, orchards, hedgerows and edges of woods.

Foodplant

Various trees and shrubs.

Lifestage data

Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva feeds within spun leaves and developing fruits. Pupates in spun leaves or a folded leaf, occasionally in debris on the ground.
