Resident. Widespread throughout Britain, more local in Scotland.

Wingspan : M & F, 12-18mm.
time & Voltinity
Mainly an upland species.
Many plants and shrubs.
Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva feeds within spun leaves and flowerheads. Pupates in larval habitation.
