Resident. Widespread throughout the British Isles, can be locally common, more scarce in Scotland.
Recorded from a few sites, in either side of the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 13-17mm.
time & Voltinity
Mainly a woodland species.
Many trees and shrubs.
Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva feeds openly on the leaves. Pupates in spun leaves.
