Resident. A species only discovered in 1951 that is steadily spreading northwards through Britain.
Recorded from a few sites in the northern half of the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 15-22mm.

Wherever foodplant is found.
Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva lives between spun needles. Pupates in larval habitation.
