Resident. Found in most areas in Britain as far north as Northumberland.
A single fairly old record taken in the south-west of the county at Staylittle in 1975.
Wingspan : M. 19-25mm. F. 24-30mm.

Many trees and shrubs.
Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva feeds in spun or rolled leaves. Pupates in larval habitation.
