This common species has a distribution throughout much of the British Isles.
First recorded at Lake Vyrnwy in the north of the county in 2020.
Wingspan : M & F 12-16mm
Heaths and Moors.
Feeds on various plants associated with the habitat.
Eggs laid on upper surface of foodplant. Larvae skeletonize spun leaves. Pupates over-winter under ground within a spun leaf.
