Recorded mainly from the north-east of the county, quite uncommon.

Wingspan :   M & F, 10-11mm.

Wherever foodplant is found.

Foodplant

Hawthorn.

Lifestage data

Fruit miner. Eggs probably laid on young berries. Larva mines into the fruit feeding within. Pupates in a double cocoon in rotten wood or the soil.
