Resident. Widespread and common in southern England and Wales becoming more local in the north and central Scotland.
Found at just a few scattered sites, an uncommon species.
Wingspan : M & F, 10-13mm.

Wherever foodplant is found.
Spinning. Eggs laid on the leaf. Larva lives in spun shoots and feeds within. Pupates in a whitish cocoon in the feeding place.
