Resident. Widespread and common in areas of limestone in England and Wales, also found locally in Scotland on acid soils.
Montgomeryshire Status
Recorded in two sites in the north-east of the county.

Lifestage data
Leaf miner. Eggs laid on the foodplant. Larva first mines a gallery
that forms into a blotch, often covering the whole leaf. Pupates in a
cocoon spun in leaf litter. |
