Recorded once from New Mills in the eastern side of the county in 1998.

Lifestage data

Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva forms a spinning amongst the leaves and occasionally the female catkins and feeds within. Pupates in a cocoon in larval feeding place or in soil.
