Resident. Widespread in England and Wales, also found in Glasgow and Wigtownshire in Scotland, can be common.
Rarely recorded and only from the west of the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 12-15mm.
|Flight time & Voltinity
Mainly urban areas.
Spinning. Eggs, oviposition site undescribed. Larva lives in a silken gallery where it feeds, in later instars it feeds outside gallery. Pupates in open network cocoon in larval feeding place.
