Resident. Widespread and common throughout the British Isles.
First confirmed in the north of the county in 2014 in the Lake Vyrnwy area.
Wingspan : M & F 13-16mm.
time & Voltinity
Wherever the foodplant is found.
Birch and alder.
Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva feeds in a folded leaf. Pupates in a loose cocoon in the detritus.
