Habitat

Gardens, woodland, hedgerows and scrub.

Foodplant

Hawthorn and blackthorn.

Lifestage data

Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva draw two or three leaves together and grazes the upper epidermis within. Pupates in the larval habitation or in the detritus on the ground.
