Resident. Widespread and generally common throughout England and Wales.
Recorded from a few sites in the east of the county.
Wingspan : M & F,11-13mm.
time & Voltinity
Gardens, woodland, hedgerows and scrub.
Hawthorn and blackthorn.
Spinning. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva draw two or three leaves together and grazes the upper epidermis within. Pupates in the larval habitation or in the detritus on the ground.
