Found at scattered sites throughout the county. 

Wingspan :   M & F,19-24mm.

Confusion species

A. heracliana and A. cnicella.
Flight time & Voltinity (Univoltine)


Most habitats.



Lifestage data

Spinning. Eggs laid on a leaf or shoot. Larva rolls a leaflet into a tube from which it feeds, several tubes may be made, also feeds on flowers and seeds. Pupates in detritus.
