Montgomeryshire Status Found locally in the county at Commins Coch and Llanfyllin. Wingspan : M & F, 18-23mm. Confusion species S. avellanella. |

(Univoltine)  Habitat Blackthorn thickets. Foodplant Blackthorn, rowan and hawthorn. Lifestage data Eggs laid on a shoot or twig. Larva within a folded down open ended leaf. Pupates in a cocoon in detritus on the ground. |
