Resident. Fairly common. Found in marshes and wet meadows throughout much of Britain.
First recorded at Lake Vyrnwy in 2000.
Wingspan : M & F, 9-13mm.

Damp and wet meadows.
Leaf miner. Eggs laid near tip of leaf. Larva forms long mines along the midrib from the tip. Pupates anchored to a leaf stem without a cocoon.
