Resident. Fairly common in the southern half of the British Isles.
Montgomeryshire Status
This species was first recorded in 2014 at Llyn Coed y Dinas Nature
Reserve in the east of the county.

Care should be taken as other species of Coleophora can look very
similar.

Leaf miner. Eggs on underside of leaf. Larva forms blotch mines, living
