Habitat

Wherever the foodplant is found.

Foodplant

Hogweed, wild angelica, wild parsnip, cow parsley and wild carrot.

Lifestage data

Leaf miner/web forming. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva first mines leaves, later feeding gregariously in a web. Pupates in a light brown cocoon in a leaf or on the ground.
