Resident & Migrant. Widespread and often abundant throughout the British Isles.
Fairly common throughout the county.
Wingspan : M & F, 12-17mm.
time & Voltinity
Wherever the foodplant is found.
Spinning. Eggs laid on underside of the foodplant. Larva feeds openly, or from a slight spinning on the underside of the leaf. Pupates in an open network cocoon on the plant or amongst the leaf litter.
