Commonest in south-east England, but is expanding northwards.
First recorded at Aberbechan in the east of the county in 2020.
Wingspan : M & F 8mm
Many species in this group are very similar. One of the best ways of separating them is to examine the type of leaf-mine.
Wherever the foodplant is found.
Leaf miner. Eggs laid on underside of leaf. Larva forms a fairly large whitish blotch. Pupa: undescribed.
