First recorded in the east of the county at Roundton Hill nature reserve in 2013.

Wingspan :   M & F 6-7mm.

Confusion species

Many species of Phyllonorycter are extremely similar, great care should be given when separating these species.

Lifestage data

Leaf miner. Eggs laid on underside of leaf. Larva makes a long and slender mine. The pupa is golden brown in a whitish, oval cocoon attached to the mine.
