Flight time & Voltinity
(Bivoltine)  Habitat Woodlands and gardens. Foodplant Privet, ash and lilac. Lifestage data Leaf miner. Eggs laid along midrib of leaf. Larva forms a narrow gallery which develops into a blotch, then a cone is formed from which they feed within. Pupates in a whitish cocoon spun under the leaf or in the litter. |
