Resident. Locally common throughout the British Isles as far north as southern Scotland.
First recorded in 2010 at Llanfyllin in the north of the county. Only the thirteenth record for north Wales.
Wingspan : M & F, 7-9mm.
L. wailesella and L. spartifoliella.
time & Voltinity
Mainly an urban species.
Laburnum, dyer's greenweed and garden lupin.
Leaf miner. Eggs laid on underside of leaf. Larva first mines a brown blotch, then an irregular short gallery. Pupates in a fragile cocoon on the underside of a leaf of the foodplant.
